STOCK CLASS Specific Rules 1) The power source for all guns will be 12 gram powerlets. As per official stock class rules the powerlet must pass through a threaded opening when loading or unloading it from the gun (exception is the Nelspot 007). 2) The speed limit for horizontally fed paintguns will be 300 fps. As defined in Official Stock Class rules--a horizontally fed stock gun has the magazine parallel to the receiver of the gun, pointing towards the butt or towards the muzzle of the paintgun, and will have no more than one ball resting directly above the closed chamber/bolt. 3) The speed limit for vertically fed guns that are modified to feed horizontally (as described below) shall be 275 fps except for the SL68 II which shall have a speed limit of 270 fps. The speed limit for vertically fed guns that are not modified to feed horizontally shall be 265 fps. 4) Vertically fed guns that are modified to feed horizontally must have a 90 degree elbow attached directly to the feed on the gun and mounted so that a 10 round tube can be inserted into the elbow from the rear, or the front, and the tube will be parallel to the paintgun's receiver. The combined height of the feed fitting and elbow must be such that no more than 3 pellets can rest vertically above the closed breach, except for the SL68 II which may have 4 pellets resting vertically above the closed breach( See pictures and parts descriptions below) 5) Players may purchase their 12 gram powerlets from anywhere. 6) Players must use field paint. 7) All players must chronograph onto the field with a fresh powerlet at the beginning of each game. They will be allowed one clearing shot (are not required to use it). The next shot will be across the chrony, if this shot is under the limit no more shot will be needed to chronograph. One player from each team, chosen by the refs will be required to chrony off using a fresh powerlet. 8) This is the third of four tournaments in the Saskatchewan Paintball Championship Circuit. 9) This will still be a charity tournament. 10) Entry fee is $125 per team. 11) As in the past years, 12 gram powered Stock Class Nelpots and Nightmare pumpguns will be available for use by the competitors at no extra charge. Quantities are limited so please reserve in advance. 12) Entry deadline is midnight Friday 25 July 2003. Team Registrations must be received by this deadline. The recommended parts used to construct the horizontal feed adapter are a maximum-4-inch-long piece of 3/4" grey PVC electrical conduit, and a white 3/4" PVC Schedule-40 90 degree elbow. This arrangement will fit directly onto a Tiger Shark pump gun. It will work on a Vulcan, Maverick or Trracer pumpgun if the outside of the gun's feed fitting is built up with electrician's tape. |

|
For Tippmann SL68 II's, Piranha pumpguns, P68AT's etc. use a 90 degree 3/4" copper street elbow. The smaller end of the street elbow goes into the SL68 II feed fitting. For the horizontal extension that the paint tube inserts into use a 4" length of 3/4" copper pipe. For WGP Sniper pump guns the same type of adapter should work, however you will have to replace the 3/4" Copper Street Elbow with a 3/4" Copper Standard Elbow. |

This event was attended by the top teams in the Provincial Championship Circuit, and one of the most enjoyable tourneys in years. The players all expressed that they had a great time. Everyone had adjusted to the requirements for horizontal feed and 12 gram use, with some players switching from vertical feed to horizontal and back as their gun velocities varied through out the day. There was a nice distribution of stock class guns and adapted vertical feed markers. The technology wasn't deciding the games. The skills were. Playoffs were held on the full 14 acre playing field, which eliminated home field advantage for teams which had played all their games on field A or all on field B. The winning team, Scat Pack, was made up of two local experienced pump players and two new players. Ten teams competed and raised $600 for the Asquith Fencing Center, which provides the opportunity for Asquith youth to become involved in individual sport and develop independence, perseverance, self control and sportsmanship in highly competitive circumstances. Everyone, players and refs, received a prize, ranging from survival knives to mousepads to tool sets. The Refereeing was provided Team Point Blank. They did an EXCELLENT job. The event progressed smoothly and quickly and was finished by 5:30 pm. The Final Results were: Scat Pack--1st Place--100 pts P.A.Predators--95 Four Neat Guys Brown--90 Wicked--85 High Voltage--80 The Generals--75 Referees were provided by Point Blank--*80 points or average of other three events. |

RESULTS OF THE 2001 CHARITY STOCK CLASSIC This event was very well attended and one of the most enjoyable tourneys in years. The players all expressed that they had a great time.....and there were no arguments! It was a fine display of sportsmanship. As one visiting player expressed it ...this is the way tournaments should be. Everyone had adjusted to the requirements for horizontal feed and 12 gram use, with some players switching from vertical feed to horizontal and back as their gun velocities varied through out the day. There were no hot gun penalties. There was a nice distribution of stock class guns and adapted vertical feed markers. The technology wasn't deciding the games. The skills were. Ten teams competed and raised $1000 for the Asquith Garde Fencing Center, which provides the opportunity for Asquith youth to become involved in individual sport and develop independence, perseverance, self control and sportsmanship in highly competitive circumstances. Everyone, players and refs, received a prize, ranging from Ceremonial Daggers, donated by the Cutting Edge, taken by the 1st place team, to sports chairs and paintball loaders donated by Paintball Action Games Asquith. The Generals Quarters donated a Red Dot Sight which was awarded to the Most Sportsmanlike Player, Ron Lumbis. The Refereeing was provided by Maia and Rob Meier,(from the Naughty Spawn) and Team Point Blank Red. They did an EXCELLENT job. The event progressed smoothly and quickly and was finished by 4:30 pm. Special Appreciation to Rob Meier who head reffed the large field. He kept games on that field running like the proverbial well-oiled machine. Thank you Rob. The Final Results were: 1st--P.A.
